About
Daisy Grice
Born into a family of artisan blacksmiths, I have always felt the desire to create. With a passion for dark art, gothic haute couture fashion and heavy metal music, I often find the things I believe to be intriguing and beautiful are often seen as unnerving, or peculiar, to others. It is this that drives me to create my jewellery, to show there is beauty within darkness. Committed to going against fast fashion, I design and craft every piece in my
workshop situated in the historic Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. I believe in creating jewellery that stands the
test of time - in both design and craftmanship.
Inspired by the enchanting world around us, I look at objects such as skeletal forms, antlers, scales and twisted decaying branches combined with my love of futuristic, otherworldly aesthetics, I produce genderless, sculptural jewellery with a dark seductive allure. Each piece enticing you to run your fingers across its smooth surface to get a true feel for its tactility and luxurious weight.
I am a professionally trained multi award-winning jewellery designer maker, my accolades include being named Innovator in the Editors Choice 2018 awards and receiving a Gold Award in the 2019 Goldsmiths Craft and Design Awards. In 2013 I started studying jewellery and silversmithing at theprestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery and In 2015 went on to work forBritish jewellery Designer Paul Spurgeon. Wanting to pursue my own dream, I returned to Birmingham in 2017 and gained a first class BA(Hons) in jewellery design for industry and subsequently in 2019 launched Daisy Grice Jewellery.

Brand Values
My work is designed for EVERYONE seeking to make a bold and original statement. Individuals, passionate about design, who do not follow the crowd but create their own style whilst making sustainable choices. It is my desire to to create a jewellery collection that stands apart from this over produced, fast fashion market that we currently find ourselves living in. My jewellery is extremely personal, every element of my work is artistically thought out to be unique in design and perfect in functionality and quality. I design, create, polish and package every piece of my work from my workshop based in the historic Birmingham jewellery quarter. I use only recycled precious metals and where possible, ethically sourced materials. My jewellery is timeless in design and holds my unchanging signature style. My jewellery is made to last the test of time in design and quality. Every piece bears the stamp of the British hallmark as well as my makers mark to show its authenticity.
